O.D.M. is an international trading company, set up in 1981 and only acting as official dealer of foreign manufacturers in several North African countries.
Its commercial activities are supported by the Head Office at LE PONTET (84-France) which is composed of the Sales Administration Department, the Technical Division and the Finance Division while after-sales service activities are supported by our algerian office based in Algiers.
This 15 people organization develops commercial relationships with all customers and manufacturers that can only result in a better penetration of concerned markets and in an evident increase of turnover achieved.
O.D.M. is in charge of promoting in the concerned countries the different types of material it represents. By doing this, it helps the sales forces of these various companies and makes the contacts easier with the potential customers. It looks after international calls for tender issued in these countries, and let its represented companies know about them in due time, by supplying the relevant tender documents.
In some cases, it translates and presents the tenders and the manufacturer’s offers. It then follows up the opening of these offers, and gives the suppliers the information enabling them to improve their position. It takes care of the first pre-negotiations and/or negotiations until the final contract is concluded.
The commercial department is also in charge of prospecting customers for the sales of above mentioned equipments and spare parts and helps the suppliers solve the problems and misunderstandings they may have in these countries.
O.D.M. also has its own trading activity and most of the time it sells directly parts and equipments while it is dealing thru manufacturers for larger equipments such as trucks fleet.
O.D.M. employs technicians in to handle the various activities and back up the products it sells (supervising delivery, erecting and commissioning, training, warranty visits etc...). Some of them are permanently based in Algeria.
On some specific projects, further to a common agreement, O.D.M. dispatches technicians permanently based on site to meet the customer’s requirements and to ensure training sessions for customers’ technical teams. Trainings are also regularly organized in our headquarters of Le Pontet.
Our technicians are also in charge of establishing with the concerned departments recommended spare parts lists likely to be supplied by O.D.M. and allowing a better maintenance of above mentioned equipments.
Finally, our product support also includes the dispatching on site of our specialists to diagnose and evaluate the feasability of product or components repair up to the complete overhauling.
